1. Your book is a bridge. A bridge book introduces an idea that invites and inspires an experience. (preferably both)
  2. The procrastinators paradox. When you commit to more than one, it's easier to get the first one done.
  3. Your outline is the enemy. Create a content cornerstone instead.
  4. Bonus idea - People are inspired by words, but transformed through experience. If you truly want to write a book that changes the world, the easiest way to do that is through the actual work you do in the world (and the small subset of your readers that you invite to engage with your ideas, or your expertise, in more intimate ways - e.g. - a course, a community, a cohort, a coaching or consultation program, a common cause, an event or any other opportunity to immerse themselves more deeply in the work you do in the world.
