○ The chances of getting rich from selling tons of books? Very small. Don't focus your time, effort or energy here.....unless making money from your book is the absolute only way you want to monetize your words
◉ The chances of getting rich selling a book that sells yourself? (your services, your events, your consulting or your community? ) Much higher (and much easier).
◉ Having an "end experience" (a coaching or consulting program, a course, a cohort, a private community, an event or even a unique or otherwise interesting/immersive way for your ideal audience or target market to engage with your work in a more intimate way.....this is pretty much the only use case for building a profitable business around your book for 99% of authors)
◉Embrace constraints. Think small. But series. (to scale). It's much easier to write a few tiny books that build your author brand in a few short months, than writing a long magnum opus that no one ever reads because you never get it done.
