It's also important to remember that one of the most important "success" factors for writing a short book that actually builds your business (translated =makes you money) is how many people engage with your end experience and "click through" to learn more about the world you're doing in the world.
Books in general have a terrible completion rate these days (see the research here and here) and the longer you make your book, the less likely it is that your ideal audience or target market, even if they really resonate with your approach or ethos - are even going to know what you're inviting them to do at the end of the book. (because they won't see it! 😼 if it's too long, which costs us what we care about most - more opportunities to engage, serve and help the people who would benefit most from our ideas)
